STEP 1:  Vetting

Our designers go through an extensive vetting process that includes communication and technical skills screening.  Other recruitment agencies short list by a word search in the CV.  Anyone can write a good CV!  We take the time to look at their portfolio and ask technical questions that only capable Instructional Designers would understand. 

We reference check before we present you with the candidate and ensure that we build a relationship with the candidate to ensure capabilities are pinpointed.

STEP 2:  Understanding your vacancy

No two Instructional Designer vacancies are the same!  For this reason it is very important to understand your requirements and deliverables of each project.  

As an example, there have been many times I have seen Instructional Designers on-boarded who are great at eLearning, but terrible at stakeholder management.... or vice versa.

It's our job to drill down and fully understand not only the skills, but the person behind the skills.

STEP 3:  Support through the engagement

This is a massive point of difference!  Our ID Relationship Managers support the new employee/contractor and the employer through the entire time of engagement. 

This can include providing ID templates, sourcing pictures or icons or just casting an eye over a design concept.

 

Regular catch-ups with line managers will validate that deliverables are being met and focus areas are understood and communicated with 360 feedback.
